DMV-BASED FLUTIST AND TEACHER

I found myself with the flute.

There is nothing else that I wish to do besides explore how sound can communicate the essence of life.

I began my journey with the flute in 2016. However, music has always been something sacred to my soul. As a child, I fawned over my mother’s humming as she cooked for me and my siblings. Music was something that managed to weave its way into every interaction, every silent room, every ray of light and looming shadow.

When I perform, my sole mission is to deliver the gift of music. This delivery serves to foster community, personal reflection, and an opportunity to come as we are. I acknowledge that life presents a myriad of challenges and graces for people from all walks of life. That is why I spend every waking moment committed to strengthening my ability to communicate through sound and presence.

My mentors include Natasha Loomis, Julianna Nickel, and the “Heifetz of the Flute”, Marina Piccinini. I embrace an education that spans both the university and conservatory models, with Peabody Conservatory being my current place of educational and artistic residency.

Throughout the years, I have found myself delivering the gift of music all over the world. From performing in Switzerland and Mongolia to establishing my competitive spirit all over the East Coast in the United States of America, I am eternally grateful to have won awards, competitions, and masterclasses held by MPIMC, the Flute Society of Washington, the New Jersey Flute Society, among others.

I sincerely welcome you to my musical world. Thank you for taking the time to catch a glimpse of my life. I look forward to the moments we may share through music
